GG4L, or the Global Grid for Learning, safely connects applications to schools. It allows schools to securely share roster data with applications through the Grid, allows EdTech vendors (like e-hallpass) to connect to the Grid and quickly deploy solutions to schools, and it promotes data interoperability. It’s a safe, secure, and manageable way to make EdTech accessible and inexpensive.
The Safer Schools in America Grant, led by GG4L and McREL through the Safer Schools in America Impact Initiative, “is an in-kind grant focused on EdTech applications that support a safer school environment in order to enable teaching and learning. Solutions range across the 7 research-based domains from campus security, physical health and wellness, emotional and behavioral health, emergency preparedness and management, digital safety, community engagement, and healthy school and district culture.”
If a school district is a member of GG4L, it can nominate its schools to receive grant funding for innovative safety EdTech solutions (deployed and used with no cost to the schools for a three-year term). E-hallpass is one of the software solutions that is available to participating schools through this groundbreaking initiative.
With e-hallpass, physical security of students is paramount, and the data made available through the application’s reporting features can help administrators and teachers refine their emergency preparedness measures. We’re proud to have our software (and the added safety and security it provides) made available to even more schools through this grant. The deadline to apply for the initiative is September 15th. The application process is free and takes only 10 minutes to complete. Learn more at https://gg4l.com/initiatives/safer-schools/.

All user data is kept up to date automatically via the state-of-the-art secure API connection. Any prospective or existing school customers of e-hallpass that would like to switch to using ClassLink for seamless user provisioning and authentication should contact Eduspire Solutions and we can easily arrange for the switch.
